Logo & Acknowledgement
It is important that proper acknowledgement of Bòrd na Gàidhlig funding is given so that people are aware of the effectiveness of Bòrd funding, and so that it is clear how public money is being spent.
Each organisation which receives funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig is contracted to acknowledge this funding at every opportunity that presents itself within their project. This includes: leaflets, posters, press releases, adverts, exhibitions, websites and many other instances and publications.
The easiest way to acknowledge Bòrd na Gàidhlig support is to show our logo on publicity materials. By doing so the profile of Gaelic is heightened across Scotland and it shows the value of public money being spent on the language and culture.
All press releases should indicate clearly that the project received funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig. Proper acknowledgement should be given to Bòrd na Gàidhlig support at any official opening or launch and an invitation should be given to a representative of Bòrd na Gàidhlig to attend.
The Bòrd na Gàidhlig logo is available in different formats, and it is important that the Bòrd logo appears in the same form as appears on Bòrd na Gàidhlig materials and is not stretched or altered.
For more information on acknowledging Bòrd na Gàidhlig funding see the Guidelines below.
