Administrative Support Officer

Administrative Support post – short-term contract for 6 months initially. working as part of Bòrd na Gàidhlig’s administrative support team, based in the Inverness Office. Applicants should be fluent in Gaelic, including reading and writing.

Management Information Officer (Oifigear Fiosrachaidh Stiùiridh)
Band Range: Band 1 £20k-25k
This post is offered on a short term contract until 31 March 2011.
Secondment/placement arrangements can be considered. Responsible for accessing/collating analysing, interpreting and presenting data, on the Bòrd’s strategic and operational key performance indicators/measures and targets. To provide input and up-to-date management information on plan progress and performance, to inform strategic and operational decision making.

GAELIC ARTS & CULTURE OFFICER - Salary of £24171 – £39385
This post is jointly funded by Bord na Gàidhlig and the Scottish Arts Council. The post also has a specific responsibility to update and implement the National Gaelic Arts Strategy, key role in the co-ordination and development of Gaelic arts initiatives and activities throughout Scotland.
Though based in the Highlands and Islands, travel throughout Scotland will be necessary. A willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends is essential.

Project Co-ordinator (Colmcille) Ireland or Scotland

Colmcille is seeking to appoint a Project Co-ordinator. The employee will be based in Ireland or Scotland.
This post carries responsibility for the development and delivery of a Gaelic /Gaeilge programme with the aim of strengthening the links between speakers of the languages in Scotland and Ireland and to work in close co-operation with similar development organisations on projects and other appropriate initiatives.
The salary for this post is on a range of £41,317 - £52,444
Development Officer (Colmcille) – Maternity Leave Cover
Salary: £24,171 - £29,673
Responsibilities for post holder –

To develop Colmcille initiatives - strengthening ties betweeen Gàidhlig and Gaeilge in Scotland and Ireland.

Administration of Colmcille grants in Scotland.
